Surfing the Soliton Wave

Another day, another day attempting to model solitons for my computational physics project. This course really is becoming a way of life.
Incidentally, in a humiliating u-turn I've changed the comment settings to allow anonymous posting so that the well known Simon Simpson can share his views. Even with anonymous posting I'm sure it won't be difficult to pick out Simon's characteristic comments.
