facebook @ the IC

Popular internet phenomena facebook has finally arrived at Imperial.
This is great news during the exam season as other Imperial revision avoidance techniques, such as heatedly discussing the relative merits of the Maclaurin and Taylor expansions, were starting to get a bit old. (Hint: it's the Taylor expansion which is the most elegant).
So if you're at the Imperial College, you should go ahead and register.
Then add me as your "friend".
If you're into this sort of thing, I'm afraid my "wall virginity" has already been taken.
We truly live in disturbing times.

I don't know why Taylor and McCalurin Series have different names - Taylor series expansion is the most general power series expansion and McClaurin is exactly equal to a Taylor expansion about the origin.
I prefer myspace to facebook.

You're absolutely correct TBR. And because Taylor is, as you say, the most generalised power series expansion, it is also, therefore, the most elegant.
Case closed.

Having experienced both, i can say that CF14 is (1 + x + x^2/2! + x^3/3!...)ly better than power series.

Guite is a hater and only has respect for the CF when it suits his purposes - i.e. wen he wants to go to a shit club to the floors of which you stick. He is a faker and a blotch upon the fair landscape that is North Cardiff.

As Tom would say, and I quote, "OMFGROFLMFAO LOL" - I was listening to Sash earlier. Reliving the early to mid-90s is the only that I do. In other news, Ibiza for two weeks for under £200? Surely it's a goer?!
